Former SGM Lawyer Joins OLRB

Lyle Kanee, a former SGM lawyer, has been appointed as vice-chair of the Ontario Labour Relations Board.

Lyle joined SGM in 2004, after serving as the managing partner of Chivers Kanee Carpenter, a boutique union-side labour firm in Edmonton. 

Lyle left SGM last year to become a part-time vice-chair of the Alberta Labour Relations Board. Lyle will continue that position, dividing his time between Alberta and Ontario.

All of us at SGM wish Lyle the best of luck in his new career as a neutral !
