Jean-Michel Corbeil practices in the areas of labour, human rights, and administrative law in SGM’s Ottawa office. Jean-Michel was a summer student at SGM in 2009, returned as an articling student and joined SGM as an associate following his call to the Ontario Bar in June 2011.

Jean-Michel received his L.L. B. from the University of Western Ontario, where he was a recipient of the Cavalluzzo Hayes Shilton McIntyre & Cornish Award in Labour Law. Jean-Michel also holds a degree in political science from the University of Western Ontario.

Jean-Michel is fluently bilingual and serves clients in both official languages.  He is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers, the County of Carleton Law Association and the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario.
