Lise Leduc

Lise Leduc joined SGM in 2006 after practicing with other union-side labour law boutique firms since 1997. Lise practices in SGM’s Ottawa office. 

Lise’s practice focuses on labour arbitration on behalf of public and private sector union clients.  She has appeared before a variety of federal and provincial labour and human rights tribunals including the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the Public Service Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario as well as the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal.  Lise has also appeared on behalf of employees and  unions before the Ontario Superior Court, the Divisional Court and the Federal Court of Canada.

Lise’s practice also includes representing individual employees in a wide variety of employment matters, including workplace harassment, disability issues, restrictive covenants, severance and wrongful dismissal. 

Lise received her law degree from the University of Ottawa. She also has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Western Ontario. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994.

Lise is fluently bilingual and represents her clients in both official languages. Lise is a member of the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario as well as the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
