Amicus curiae brief

SGM participated in the preparation of an amicus curiae brief presented to the Supreme Court of Mexico in a case involving the autonomy of Mexican mineworkers and, in particular, whether the Mexican Labour Secretariat has the authority to interpret a trade union’s constitution in refusing to grant legal acknowledgement to the union’s duly elected leadership under Mexico’s Federal Labour Law.
