Yu-Sung Soh is a member of SGM’s labour law group. Yu-Sung has worked in various capacities at SGM over the years, first as a legal assistant during the summers, then as a summer student, and most recently as an articling student. Yu-Sung joined the firm as an associate following his call to the Ontario Bar in 2009.
Yu-Sung’s practice focuses on all types of proceedings before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, including certification, unfair labour practice complaints, related employer applications, and construction industry grievances.
Yu-Sung received his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was a Blakes Scholar and received a course prize in Contracts. He also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Queen’s University. During law school, Yu-Sung provided commentary on recent Supreme Court cases as a senior contributing editor with The Court, an online publication at Osgoode. He was also a junior editor with the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and an active member of the Korean Law Student’s Association, where he helped to organize its annual conference.
