Kelly Doctor practices in the areas of labour, human rights, and administrative law. Before joining Sack Goldblatt Mitchell, she clerked for the Honourable Justice Louise Charron at the Supreme Court of Canada.
Kelly studied law at McGill University, where she obtained degrees in common law and Quebec civil law. She received the F.R. Scott prize for the best overall performance in constitutional law and she won the national Laskin Moot Court Competition in constitutional and administrative law. While at law school, she completed a clerkship at the Quebec Human Rights Tribunal as well as an internship at the Mohawk Counsel of Kahnawá :ke. Kelly also holds a degree in political science from the University of Ottawa.
Kelly is bilingual and serves clients in both official languages. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers, the County of Carleton Law Association and the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008.
