Dona Campbell practices exclusively in pensions and benefits law. She advises trade unions, boards of trustees of multi- and single-employer plans, groups of salaried employees and retirees, and government agencies in different jurisdictions in Canada on a variety of pension and benefit matters, including fiduciary and governance obligations, surplus and windup rights, regulatory compliance and supplemental retirement arrangements.
Dona has acted as counsel to various employee groups before the Pension Commission of Ontario, now the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), and the Financial Services Tribunal (appeal tribunal for Financial Services Commission of Ontario). She is currently a member and past chair of the Legal Advisory Committee to FSCO. Chair of the Legal Advisory Committee to the Financial Services Tribunal. She has chaired numerous industry conferences and written extensively on a variety of pension issues. Dona is the past editor of the Estates, Trusts and Pension Journal and is currently on the editorial board of the Pension Planning Journal.
Dona was called to the Ontario Bar in 1987.
