Amanda Wojcik is a member of SGM’s labour law group. Mandy articled at SGM and joined the firm after her call to the Ontario Bar in 2006.
Mandy’s practice focuses on all aspects of employment and labour law, including workplace human rights, grievance arbitration, labour board matters, and professional disciplinary proceedings.
Mandy received her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. She also has a bachelor of arts degree in English literature, political science and religious studies from McGill University.
During law school, Mandy worked in the Community and Legal Aid Services Programme (CLASP) and was a division leader for the Youth and Education Division. She was also an active member of the Osgoode Law Activist Association (OLAA!), which, among its many activities, organized an annual student public interest conference and advocated for accessible and affordable legal education. She received awards for academic achievement in labour and administrative law and for her contribution to legal aid, clinical practice, and public interest law.
Mandy is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and the Law Union of Ontario.
